The San Diego Women’s Chorus presents Home for the Holidays, a winter concert featuring diverse songs of the season. Enjoy familiar music, both traditional and contemporary, as well as new favorites that summon our most cherished memories of holidays past and spark our longing to be with the people who create home.
SDWC is proud to showcase our diverse traditions through music. The songs speak to the awe, stillness, glee, longing and belonging that weave through Solstice, Hanukkah, religious and secular Christmas and the winter season…even when winter calls for sandals and sunglasses. Song selections include “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve,” “In Dulce Jubilo,” selections from “Elf: the Musical,” and “White Winter Hymnal.” In addition to the voices of the San Diego Women’s Chorus, “Home for the Holidays” features a string quartet, body percussionists and hilarious dancing elves.
The concert will be ASL-interpreted for deaf and hard of hearing patrons.
Tickets are $25 at the door ($20 for student, senior, military, disabled, youth).
