A cozy cup of hot chocolate by a roaring fireplace while snow falls softly outside the window… not exactly your typical San Diego winter story. But for one Sunday evening in December, let SDWC transport you right into that wintery holiday mood. Join us on December 8th for “A Winter’s Night” an evening of music and holiday merriment, cabaret-style, performed by the talented women of San Diego Women’s Chorus. Enjoy our offering of traditional songs and modern favorites, from “O Holy Night” and “Merry Christmas Darling” to Joni Mitchell’s “River” and “The Christians and the Pagans,” as well as dance numbers and comedy pieces – all featuring the talents of more than 30 of our members.
Showtime is 5:00 pm, but arrive early to enjoy our pre-show happy hour reception beginning at 4:00 pm, where we will have an array of appetizers, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, you will be able to browse and shop the tables of our first ever SDWC Arts & Crafts Fair, featuring creative crafts handmade by SDWC members – you’re sure to find some great holiday gifts!
You’ll also want time to check out our silent auctions and the chance to purchase opportunity drawing tickets for our stellar pick-your-prize baskets!
Don’t miss this ONE-NIGHT-ONLY Fundraiser benefitting the SDWC Festival Travel Fund. Monies raised will help offset costs travel to Minneapolis next year to represent San Diego at the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses Festival! Your generosity will help us share our music across the country!
